Our organisation has a long-standing association with Alor Disha Old Age Home, where we regularly support residents to ensure they live with comfort, dignity, and care.

Our Regular Support Includes

• Distribution of essential hygiene supplies such as adult diapers
• Clothing and nutrition support
• Social care initiatives and regular visits

The Importance of This Work

The elderly residents of Alor Disha are among the most vulnerable members of our society. Through consistent, compassionate support, we help them maintain their dignity and quality of life — ensuring they know they are not forgotten.

This initiative reflects our belief that service to the elderly is one of the highest forms of community care.

RC Jodhpur Gardens Calcutta distributed 20 nos. clothes & snacks to the old age home at 1, East End Trust Road, Kolkata 700084.

📅 Rotary Year 2025 — Distribution of Bedsheets, Suraksha Old Age Home, Kolkata

RC Jodhpur Gardens Calcutta distributed 11 nos. bedsheets to Suraksha Old Age Home, 1/11 Ananda Nagar, Kolkata 700152 (Opposite Urbanna).

♿ Adult Diapers & Wheelchair Donation — Alor Disha Old Age Home

The Rotary Club of Jodhpur Gardens Calcutta — a club with a majority of senior citizens — is deeply empathetic to the well-being of less fortunate elderly citizens. Key areas of caring include Hygiene and Mobility.

◆ The club gifts adult diapers every month — a signature project of the club.
◆ Also gifted a Wheelchair with the 4-Way Test to Alor Disha Old Age Home, received from Project Samarth III (Rotary Club of Calcutta).
